ELEMENTARY:  Our curriculum Finding God: Our Responses to God’s Gifts is used from kindergarten through fifth grade.  It reflects a vision of our Catholic faith grounded in scripture and tradition, and an Ignatius recognition of the presence of God in all things. It doesn’t just teach about God, it invites children and adults into a relationship with God and nurtures the God within.

Adult and teen volunteers serve as catechists or classroom aides. If you love God and seek to serve Him by putting children not only in touch with God, but in communion with him, please prayerfully consider joining our apostolate.  Contact:Anna McCloy, DRE, religioused@ctrcc.net

All our 2nd grade students spend the year preparing to receive their First Reconciliation and First Communion.  First Reconciliation is received in the Fall and First Communion is received in the Spring.

MIDDLE SCHOOL:  Our curriculum, The Faith and Life Series from Ignatius Press is intended to provide parishes catechetical tools and essential elements of Catholic doctrine pivotal in the formation of young Catholics.

We recognize that parents are the first and primary teachers of our Catholic faith and our ministry works to assist them in their efforts.  All Kindergarten – 8th Grade classes meet on Sunday at Kilough Elementary School, the public school next door to our church.  Students arrive by 10:10.  All classes are dismissed at 11:10.  Our program runs from August through April.

Are you interested in the Catholic Faith? Christ The Redeemer will soon begin a new journey in faith to share the richness of the Catholic Church and our parish family. We invite you to learn what the Church teaches, and be introduced to some of our parish members. These sessions are also opportunities for you, and others that you may wish to invite, to ask those perplexing and difficult questions you may have about the Church. These gatherings are for inquirers and are open to people who are unbaptized, as well as baptized Christians from Protestant or Evangelical backgrounds.

Please give Danielle Simon a call if you have any questions, would like further information at 678-234-8204 or email at rcia@ctrcc.net.

Our program offers Faith Formation programs after the Saturday Vigil Mass, between the Sunday Masses, on Wednesday evenings, in homes as couples, Friday mornings after Mass, daily devotional booklets, a lending library, and invited speakers.

All of the Adult Faith Formation offerings seek to put you in communion with God who called you into being, who is always with you, and who loves you with a steadfast love.  We pray that you will find God speaking to you through Scripture Study, Devotionals, Great Books/CDs/DVDs, and in the Parish family of Christ the Redeemer.

We pray that you will prayerfully consider joining us in our life long faith formation as we grow in our faith and develop a greater relationship with Christ.
